One of the mechanics told me at the local Kubota shop that on a B7800 when lowering or raising the belly mower (mid PTO) the rear implement would rise also, vise versa for lowering. I am kinda confused by this.
So if you want to leave your mmm on and want to use a box, tiller, etc on the rear, I would think the mmm would be in the way having to be lowered. Seems you'd have to take the mmm off. Or can you lock the mmm all the way up, then be free to go up or down on the rear? Hope I explained the confusion. Thanks!!

I think you have the straight of it.

I know that is the way my BX operates.

I don't have a mower but my understanding is that you can pin them in the raised position if you want to use the 3 pt. without activating the mower raise/lower functions. ....

There should be four levels of PTO controls:

1) no pto's turning,
2) rear pto only turning,
3) mid pto only turning,
4) rear and mid turning together.

So you just pin the mower in place and choose the control position you need. ....

Mark, that is not true on all compact tractors. You should disconnect the shaft and remove the that end of the shaft from the mower. I know that it's full featured brothers use two levers one for rear one for mid pto. It would be your option to remove and unhook. ....

On my B2710 you have two control levers for the pto's,one for the rear and one for the mid.You just pin the mower in the raised position and then use the three point like normal no need to unhook the pto shaft.I beleave the B7800,B2710 and B2910 are all the same. ....
